Toll stickers and rates

Rates in EUR, incl. 20 % VAT, valid since Dezember 1^st 2011

Bikes: single-track vehicles (incl. those with a sidecar attached)
Cars: multi-track vehicles with a maximum permissible gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tons; the gross weight of any trailer attached must not be added to that of the towing vehicle.

Types of toll stickers

Ten-day toll sticker for vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight of up to 3.5 tons

The ten-day toll sticker entitles motor vehicles to use Austrian toll roads for ten consecutive calendar days, with the punched day counting as the first calendar day of this ten-day period.

Example:
Punching date: 10 January means that the toll sticker is valid from 10 January up to and including 19 January.

The two-month toll sticker entitles motor vehicles to use the toll road for a period of two months. The term of validity starts with the punched date and expires two months later at the end of the day that corresponds to the punched day.

Example:
Punching date: 10 January means that the toll sticker is valid from 10 January up to and including 10 March.

 !  Both ten-day and two-month toll stickers must be validated (i.e. punched) by an authorized toll sticker point of sale. Toll stickers that have not been punched and/or are not affixed to the vehicle are not valid.

Please check that the correct date has been punched by the toll-sticker point of sale immediately upon purchase.

The day on which the toll sticker is purchased does not necessarily have to correspond to the starting date of the journey. Customers may also buy toll stickers in advance. But what is important is that the toll sticker is punched on the actual starting date of the journey.

The annual toll sticker entitles motor vehicles to use toll roads during the calendar year indicated on the toll sticker. Note: Toll stickers are only valid if affixed to the vehicle.

The annual toll sticker is valid from 1 December of the preceding year until 31 January of the following year (i.e. the year following that indicated on the annual toll sticker).

Example:
Annual toll sticker 2011: Valid from 01 December 2011 up to and including 31 January 2013.

Korridorvignette

The KorridorVignette (corridor toll sticker) entitles vehicles of up to and including 3.5 tons maximum permissible gross weight to use the section (known as the “corridor”) between the German border and the Hohenems junction on the A 14 Rheintal/Walgau motorway in Vorarlberg. The Korridorvignette is valid for 24 hours and costs EUR 2 for one direction and EUR 4 for both directions.

Vehicles that have a valid annual, two-month or ten-day toll sticker attached do NOT require an additional Korridorvignette.
