Special toll rates apply on cost-intensive Alpine crossings. All about routes, fares and tickets are available here at a glance.

Special toll routes can be found on the A 9, A 10, A 11, A 13 and S 16. The special toll tickets can be paid either directly at the respective toll station or paid in advance by purchasing a video toll card.

Tip! The video toll card for the A 10 (Tauern motorway) is valid for driving through both the Tauern and the Katschberg tunnels (i.e. it is not possible to buy a separate video toll card for either the Katschberg or the Tauern tunnel). Video toll cards are not offered for the St. Michael/Höf access or exit.

After you have purchased a video toll ticket online please print the document that is provided to you on the screen. In addition, you will also receive a confirmation of purchase, given a correct e-mail address. Annual season ticket holders can get at the toll charge a toll card in credit card format.

The special toll route is located on the section between the Spital/Pyhrn junction and the Ardning junction (Bosruck) and between the St. Michael junction and Übelbach (Gleinalm).

A 13 Brenner motorway

Ausweichroute zu A 12 A 13 am niederrangigen Straßennetz.The entire A 13 is a special toll section. It can be driven without a toll sticker. Please note the mandatory toll sticker requirement on the A 12. Should you wish to avoid the road network subject to the mandatory toll requirement, the Innsbruck Süd junction is the first or last exit.
