According to this survey 78 percent of drivers have already heard or read about the Digital Vignette.
83 percent of those surveyed believe that the Digital Vignette is an attractive new development and feel positive about the new product.
Two out of three drivers say that come December 2017 they will choose a Digital Vignette.
Just under half of all yearly toll sticker holders state that they would purchase the Digital Vignette despite the consumer protection period of 17 days. Buyers of the ten-day and two-month toll stickers tend to be more hesitant about the Digital Vignette – because of the time you have to wait until it is valid. Only 14 percent of those surveyed would buy a short-term Digital Vignette online in the future. This makes purchasing the short-term Digital Vignette from the sales partners all the more attractive: Almost half of all respondents are planning to buy the digital version of the short-term toll sticker from the distribution partners come summer 2018.
According to the survey, customers show great interest in the new option of automatically extending the yearly toll sticker via a subscription. One in three (39 percent) of today's yearly toll sticker holders is planning to use this subscription option for the digital toll sticker.
The Digital Vignette is good news for holders of transferable number plates. The survey shows that more than 88 percent of respondents who are holders of transferable number plates like the idea of the Digital Vignette.
