DI Gernot Brandtner
Gernot Brandtner studied Industrial Engineering in Building Construction at the Technical University of Graz. From 1991 to 1995 he worked as a project leader and departmental head in an engineering firm. From 1995 he was assistant to the board, project leader in the Structural Maintenance department and subsequently head of Structural Maintenance at the former Österreichische Autobahnen- und Schnellstraßen AG (ÖSAG). In 2005 Brandtner was appointed head and authorised signatory of the Structural Maintenance department of ASFINAG Autobahn Service GmbH Süd. Since 1 March 2008 Gernot Brandtner has been managing director of ASFINAG Baumanagement GmbH and is responsible for technical interests in this position.
DI Alexander Walcher
Alexander Walcher studied Landscape Ecology and Landscape Planning at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Science in Vienna. He specialised primarily in the areas of Environmental Law and Environmental Policy. In 1997 Walcher started work at the former Österreichische Autobahnen- und Schnellstraßen AG (ÖSAG) in the area of Procurement, and from 1998 was a project leader on new construction projects. In 2003 Walcher was appointed manager of the business field of Planning and in 2005 appointed head of the Planning department at ASFINAG Bau Management GmbH. Since 1 March 2008 Alexander Walcher has been managing director of this company and is responsible for commercial interests in this position.

Dr. Josef Fiala
Josef Fiala studied Political and Legal Sciences at the University of Vienna. After graduating, Fiala held various management positions at Generali Versicherung, including manager of the HR and Training department from 1994. From 2005 to 2008 Fiala was a member of the expanded management of Generali Holding Vienna and from 2002 a member of the board of the Generali Pension Fund. On 1 March 2008 Josef Fiala took over the management of ASFINAG Maut Service GmbH. On 1 July 2010 he was appointed managing director of ASFINAG Service GmbH and is responsible for commercial interests in this position.
Mag. Rainer Kienreich
Rainer Kienreich studied Technical Geology at the Technical University of Graz. In 2002 Kienreich was appointed head of the Motorways department and joined ASFINAG at the time of its operational transfer. Having held positions in Project Controlling and Structural Maintenance, Kienreich took over as manager of the Existing Network Planning department in 2008. In 2009 Kienreich worked as head of the Technical Coordination department at ASFINAG Holding. On 17 November 2009 Rainer Kienreich was appointed managing director of ASFINAG Service Gesellschaft and is responsible for technical interests in this position.

Mag. Gabriele Lutter
Gabriele Lutter studied Economics and Business Administration and began her career at the Austrian Federal Railways. After a change to the Federal Ministry for Public Economy and Transport, Lutter returned back to the ÖBB. On 2007 she took over the Board Director of ÖBB traffic AG. On 1st March 2013 Gabriele Lutter was appointed managing director of ASFINAG Maut Service GmbH and is responsible for commercial interests in this position.
Ing. Mag. Bernd Datler
Bernd Datler studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration from 1992 to 1998. After attending a trainee programme at Unilever, Datler worked for four years at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as a company consultant in Austria and neighbouring countries, and the last one and a half years building up the HGV toll system. Datler then moved to ASFINAG Maut Service GmbH, where he took over management of the System Development department in 2006. On 17 November 2009 Berndt Datler was appointed managing director of ASFINAG Maut Service GmbH and is responsible for technical interests in this position.

Ing. Stefan Siegele
After completing vocational training to become a sawyer, Stefan Siegele attended secondary technical college (civil engineering faculty) in Innsbruck. He then worked for 14 years as a site manager and head of the Special Civil Engineering Division at HTB, a construction company in Vorarlberg, before he joined ASFINAG as the motorway maintenance manager for St. Jakob am Arlberg in 2009. Since 1 August 2016, Stefan Siegele has been the head of the Division for Operational Maintenance and Network Planning in Innsbruck for the ASFINAG Alpenstraßen GmbH, and additionally became Managing Director of ASFINAG Alpenstraßen GmbH on 1 January 2017.
ASFINAG Commercial Services GmbH
DI (FH) René Moser, MBA
René Moser studied Urban Technologies at University of Applied Sciences "Technikum JOANNEUM", Kapfenberg (Austria) and completed his Master of Business Administration (Global Executive MBA) at Vienna University of Economics and Business and Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota) in 2015. In 2004 he joined ASFINAG as a project manager for research projects in the field of intelligent transport systems, worked in the former Corporate Strategy department from 2005 to 2007 and was Assistant to the Board until 2011. In addition to his domestic responsibilities, he also represented ASFINAG in Brussels from 2009 to 2013. From 2009 to 2011 he was delegated to the European Association of Motorway Concessionaires – ASECAP and thereafter established and managed ASFINAG's Liaison Office in Brussels. Since 1 January 2012 René Moser has been managing the Strategy, International Relations and Innovation department at ASFINAG, and as of 1 October 2015 also took on the management of ASFINAG Commercial Services GmbH. Since March 2016 René is also a member of the Board of the Foundation of the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association – IBTTA.
Dr. Anton Sieber
Anton Sieber studied Technical Physics at the Technical Universities of Munich and Vienna. He then completed a postgraduate degree in Business Administration at the Technical University of Vienna and at the Danube University in Krems. His career at ASFINAG began in 1998 as an employee for the technical part of the tender and commissioning process for the Austrian HGV toll system. From 2005 to 2007 he was head of the Group Strategy department of ASFINAG. In September 2009 Anton Sieber was appointed managing director of ASFINAGCommercial Services GmbH and is responsible for technical interests in this position.
ASFINAG European Toll Service GmbH
Mag. Gabriele Csoklich
Gabriele Csoklich studied Commercial Sciences at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. In 1991 she joined ASFINAG for the first time. In 1994 she left ASFINAG for a year to work at an investment bank in London. In 1998 Csoklich moved to Österreichische Bundesfinanzierungsagentur, where she remained until she rejoined ASFINAG in 2008. Gabriele Csoklich has managed the finance department of ASFINAG since August 2008, since January 2015 she is also responsible for group accounting . Additionally she was appointed Managing Director of ASFINAG European Toll Service GmbH in March 2010.
Dr. Hubert Resch
Hubert Resch studied Legal Sciences at the University of Vienna. He then worked as a university assistant at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration for three years. Resch then moved to ASFINAG, where he provided legal support for, amongst other things, the tendering procedure for the HGV toll system from 1998 to 2003. From 2003 to 2006 he was a trainee lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and then practised as a lawyer in Vienna until 2008. Since 2008 up to 2012 Hubert Resch has been head of the Legal department and since 1st September 2009 up to 30th September 2015 additionally a commercial managing director of ASFINAG Commercial Services GmbH. By May 1st 2012 Resch was appointed Managing Director of ASFINAG European Toll Service GmbH.
